DIY Bookmarks and Greeting Cards using Mandala Art

Hello everyone. In the last post, I presented the mandala art in simple steps. In this post, I will be showing some super easy stuff that even a non artistic person can create and satisfy his/her creative side.

1} DIY BOOKMARKS

Many of us love reading books but always loose the track of pages. But nothing to worry now because you yourself can create these super easy and creative bookmarks:

Now for those who are wondering that how can the water color effect can be created, here is a quick trick:

1) Take a small part of a plastic sheet (small part polythene bags can work).

2) By using sketchpens, draw random strokes like this-

3) Sprinkle a few drops of water on it, turn it and press it on the paper. Now gently spread it with your fingers and remove the plastic sheet.

Your watercolor background is now ready and you can create your favourite pattern on it. You can use this technique for creating different things.

2} Greeting cards:

Mandala is all about creating interesting patterns. You can create such patterns and make greeting cards for your loved ones.

The best thing about mandala art is creating best patterns with minimal materials. I will be soon posting a series of different greeting cards since the festive season is here. So keep reading.

Ps: Today is the World Mental Heath Day and our motto for today is to spread smiles. Do try gifting your loved ones with such creative handmade stuff and spread smiles on their face. #KeepSmiling
